Earn It. Play It. Own It.  For Life!

Imagine not just borrowing an instrument—but earning it! Students who complete one year of the OMG program have the incredible opportunity to make their loaned instrument their own. By attending OMG-sponsored lessons (or showing significant improvement), keeping the instrument in top condition, and demonstrating a true commitment to growing as a musician, students will officially take ownership of their instrument—

 free and forever!

Eligibility

  • Students must have a desire and interest to learn an instrument or expand on their current skill level.

  • Students must be enrolled in a licensed public, private, or parochial school or homeschooled, and be between the ages of 10 and 18.

  • Students must participate in a school, church or community program, alternative instruction, private or group lessons and/or attend at least half of the music lessons provided by the Foundation free of charge.

OMG Program Terms and Conditions

  • Before borrowing an instrument, students get the exclusive opportunity to take a free two-hour “Maintenance, Tuning, Repair, and Introduction” lesson—something few musicians ever learn firsthand! This rare session, provided by the Foundation, ensures students not only play their instrument but truly understand how to care for it. This session is required. While the instrument is on loan, students are responsible for keeping it in top shape and covering any repair or adjustment costs.

  • The Foundation offers 10 free guitar sessions annually for participating students. Each session consists of a two-hour group lesson held over four consecutive weeks. Students must attend at least half of the sessions. Those unable to attend must provide proof of receiving lessons or informal instruction from another source.

  • In the event the student stops taking music lessons, leaves his/her school music program, or decides to no longer play the instrument, the loaned instrument must be returned within 30 days.

Lesson Terms

  • Get ready to make it official! To borrow an instrument, students and their parent or legal guardian will sign a contract with the Foundation, securing their spot in this incredible opportunity. The initial loan lasts one year, but don’t worry—if you’re taking great care of your instrument, it can be renewed annually! A quick inspection by your mentor, teacher, or a Foundation board member is all it takes to keep the music going.

  • The OZONE Music Foundation is thrilled to loan instruments to students—completely free of charge! While the Foundation retains ownership during the loan period, students get full access to play, learn, and grow. To keep this incredible opportunity going, students must follow the loan agreement. If the terms aren’t met or the instrument isn’t returned by the due date, the contract will be terminated, and the instrument reclaimed. Keep the music alive by honoring the commitment!

  •  Complete the one year of the OMG program, and your loaned instrument could become yours—forever!
By attending OMG-sponsored lessons (or proving your progress), keeping your instrument in great shape, and showing true dedication to your musical journey, you’ll officially earn ownership. This is more than just a loan—it’s your gateway to a lifetime of music!

  • Students and their parent or legal guardian are strictly forbidden from lending or selling the instrument—this special loan is just for you! The Foundation is committed to keeping instruments in great hands, so if any misuse or abuse is reported or observed, the contract may be terminated, and the instrument reclaimed. Treat it with care, play with passion, and keep the music going!
